In Poet's Word
You send me away,
With your words,
Take me by surprise.
Was I in too deep,
Or not enough.
What is a poet,
With the need to write.
My need,
Your voice.
I'm truly unknown,
To myself, to you.
Where do I being,
To be the poet in me.
Speak softly,
That only whispers.
Speak hard,
You go to far.
To be a poet,
You must have a name.
My name.
My words,
Who are you.
What have you done,
Where have you been.
I'm just grasping,
To hold on.
To the poet in me.
To be heard.
Who am I
I,
The E Writer.
Take me at my word,
Give me
Title.
Send word
A poet is my name.
I belong
To send you,
A poet's soul.
